Marc Kaufman is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington with over 27 years of experience in the accounting and legal industry. He has extensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and related IRS regulations, rulings, procedures, and case law. His expertise lies in working with family groups in the design and implementation of wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, and wealth transfer planning strategies. In addition he provides a coordinated approach to income tax, retirement, business and estate planning for business owners, key executives, and other individuals and families. His strength is his demonstrated ability to explain complex tax rules to clients in such a way that they can understand and appreciate the application of such rules to their specific fact situation.
Marc received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Indiana University in May 1982, and then went on to earn his law degree from DePaul University School of Law in June 1985. He began his career with Laventhol and Howath, then went on to spend the next 10 years at Clark Nuber and was a principal of the firm during the last 2 years. After leaving Clark Nuber he served as legal counsel at Treacy Law Group, PLLC from the years 1998 to 2000 and at Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland, PLLC from 2000 to 2001. From 2001 through 2003 he spent his career at Ernst and Young as Senior Tax Manager. Marc left Ernst and Young in 2003 to form his own private accounting firm and in January 2005 he joined Scott Krahling in practice as Kaufman Krahling, PLLC. In November of 2005 Marc and Scott joined Howard Holman in practice as Holman Kaufman Krahling, PLLC.
Scott Krahling is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington with over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry. His expertise lies in working with closely held businesses, high net worth individuals, investment planning, including diversifying high concentrations of stock.
Scott received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1984 and then went on to study at Seattle University and Golden Gate University. He is an active member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accounts and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He began his career at Arthur Anderson as tax senior, then went on to spend the next 7 years at Clark Nuber as senior tax manager. Scott left Clark Nuber in 1999 to form his own private accounting firm, also formed an alliance with Catalyst Opportunity Fund and was director of finance for OneWorld Challenge. In January 2005 he joined Marc Kaufman in practice as Kaufman Krahling, PLLC and in November 2005 Scott and Marc joined Howard Holman in practice as Holman Kaufman Krahling, PLLC.

Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington. He specializes in tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals, trusts, estate and gift tax, private foundations, and closely held entities holding rental real estate and other investments. He also has expertise with tax reporting requirements for individuals with foreign assets and ownership in foreign entities.
Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and went on to receive his Master of Accountancy in Tax from Brigham Young University in 2007. He is an active member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He began his career in 2007 in the Seattle office of Deloitte Tax, LLP where he gained experience with a variety of industries and areas of taxation. He joined Pioneer Square Advisors, LLC in 2009 where his focus was on high net worth individuals, trusts and closely held entities. In 2012 he joined Holman Kaufman Krahling, PLLC.

Curt is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Washington in 2007. Currently he is pursuing a Master of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University.
Curt began his career with Kenneth D. Duncan, Jr. CPA, Inc. where he gained Individual, Partnership, and Corporate tax experience in a wide range of industries. In 2014, he joined Holman Kaufman Krahling, PLLC and specializes in tax services for high net worth individuals and performing tax research and special projects.
Steve is an Enrolled Agent and a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with over 14 years of experience. He specializes in tax compliance and accounting issues for operating entities and their owners. Steve has extensive experience with QuickBooks consulting and training, he also works closely with clients to help design and implement accounting systems and procedures.
Steve began his career in 2002 in the Northern Virginia area where he spent nine years in public accounting and six months as a controller. Steve came to Washington State in 2012 and continued working in public accounting at Melang, Hopps & Company, PLLC before joining Holman Kaufman Krahling in late 2016.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Mason University in 2003. Steve is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University.
